Walvis Bay Airport groundhandling praised

Walvis Bay Airport Services received a glowing review and thank you from the UAS Internation Trip Support Station Manager for Southern Africa who said "I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service we received during my recent flight to WVB Airport. The level of professionalism and care demonstrated by your staff exceeded my expectations and truly made my experience memorable.

In particular, I would like to highlight the outstanding service provided in constant and effective communication by the team for providing timely updates on flight information, exemplified the epitome of excellent customer service." (sic)

WBAS took care of the Air Zimbabwe flight discharging some 174 passengers and all the passenger baggage. The WBAS team also handled the groundhandling services such as restocking the plane with catering supplies, potable water, toilet and GPU (power) supply.

Notably the team was able to get all the passengers and baggage (172 bags) off the plane and in the terminal in minutes as opposed to longer wait times at other airports.
