Manica Group Namibia is committed to creating and maintaining a safe working environment for its staff and visitors. A new group of Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) representatives underwent a thorough safety training last week. The training not only dealt with the duties and tasks of a safety representative, but also the legal aspects of safety incidents, creating awareness, a risk based approach to all operations and the various processes of registering and handling the safety aspects of working with different types of cargo. The training was presented by the SHEQ officers of the group, Michael Revill, Graham Tise as well as Soenet Geel who oversees and audits Quality and Safety processes for the group.
