WFS assisted a local client with the customs clearance and importation of a CLAAS harvester. This agricultural super machine is worth about N$3.4 million and was shipped on the vessel, Glovis Safety from Germany via Antwerp. The WFS team had a few challenges to overcome due to late documentation but were able to get the clearance and customs inspection done within 2 days. The machine was then loaded on a lowbed trailer due to its hefty 19 tonnes weight and delivered to the client.
This CLAASs combine harvester is built to provide up to 370kW or 496 horse power, delivered from its powerful Perkins engine. The combine harvester is equipped with various attachments and features such as a chaff spreader, monitors and a stone trap to assist with easier harvesting.
