Manica Oil & Gas
With the numerous oil and gas reserved found along the coast of Namibia and the prospective first series of drilling set to start as from 2012, Manica has strengthened its oil and gas services to a more rounded service division. The Manica Oil and Gas division provides, coordinates and arranges any required logistics support to national and international oil and gas customers that explore and operate in Namibia or offshore and who use local facilities for repairs or other support activities. In the past decade Manica has been the choice service provider for oil rigs that opted to use the ports of Walvis Bay and Luderitz for repairs, husbandry and logistics services.
The division was brought about to meet the specialised requirements of the envisaged exploration and drilling activities. The creation of the division was also driven by the group's extensive experience in providing the full scope of logistics services to previous rigs and exploartion vessels off the coast of Namibia. Manica Group has played a pinacle role in the following rig and shore based projects:
