Corporate Social Responsibility

Manica Group Namibia is aware of the significant socioeconomic and community health challenges facing our country, Namibia. We are committed to the upliftment and wellbeing of all underprivileged and disadvantaged people and communities in all regions of Namibia. Manica's social investment strategy aims to support initiatives that develop and promote education, health, sport and the environment.

Manica Group Namibia specifically aims to support the communities in which it operates, and measures the projects it supports in terms of their sustainability and mutually beneficial impact for both the group and the communities. Each year Manica invests 1% of all profits into various community projects. Some of the ongoing support has been to the Promise Land Feeding Project, Sunshine Centre (Disabled Children), Milk for Destitute babies in Walvis Bay, Bursaries for Namibian students, donations for sport and educational activities.

Sharing these values, the staff members of Manica Group Namibia, also established a staff funded charity, called the Pandula Trust. This trust raises funds solely through staff contributions and distributes all donated food, items and material to old age homes, havens, school projects, charity groups and foster homes.
