The successful incumbent must have 2 - 3 years experience in an accounting and/or administration environment. Experience in freight or logistics industry will be a distinct advantage. The emphasis of the job falls on practical efficiency of attending to basic accounting administration.

Minimum Requirements...
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Ships Agency;
  • Minimum of 3 years general management experience in running a business unit;
  • A ships agency certification (Diploma and/or Shipping Course) will be and advantage;
  • Ability to liaise with Governmnet authorities, customers and suppliers;
  • Proven customer services and sales experience;
  • Valid driver's licence;
  • Excellent command of the English language;
  • Exceptional communication skills;
  • Proven strategic management ability;
  • Excellent people skills;
  • Financial expertise, i.e. budgeting, forecasting, management of debtors and creditors, etc.
  • Namibian citizen
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Manage customer relations;
  • Generate and implement service improvement measures;
  • Manage daily port activities for the company;
  • Review costs analysis of services provided;
  • Assist in budget preparations and strategy plans;
  • Support management team operationally
